Morning briefing 10/2/20
This morning at whole staff morning briefing, following on from the previous post, Peggy called tara and myself a baby assistant principal in training. This didn't affect me at the time, but as I think about it during today, I see that it has undermined my Mana. If she wants me to be the strong member of SLT that she expects me to be, then she makes it hard when she makes remarks like this to the entire staff.
She also publicly thanked Kōmanawa for all their hard work during the pōwhiri. I'm not one who wants all the praise or expects praise for work done, but I put a lot of work into the pōwhiri, making it happen and liasing between mana-whenua, kōmanawa, and the school, and the only person who has said thank you to me is Rebecca. It's hard to do work, when other people get credit for it.
