My notes:

Lots of group teaching

Does PBL and Integrated learning but emphasis is on literacy and numeracy teaching as well

High levels of English as a second language.

Day and night adult classes to diploma level.

A great way to get parents in is with sport and food, kapahaka, dance and music.

Community will really engage once word gets out that your school is not just about the kids but is about up-skilling a community.

For the first term we should just have festivals to engage the community.

They run:
Play therapy
Art therapy
social workers

These are key for helping troubled students. They have lots of refugees who have seen too much in their lives.
